Heidelberg develops and manufactures in its equipment
division precision printing presses, devices for plate imaging and

presses of its partner Ricoh and offers integrated offset and
digital solutions.
The services division comprises the company's portfolio
of technical services for an absolute stable production and
maximized machine availability - such as routine maintenance within
the scope of service contracts, service parts supply, and
consumables. What's more, Heidelberg offers further
value-adding services, so-called performance services such as
training and consulting to optimize the entire range of production
and management processes, the sales of used equipment as well as
workflow software for integrating all processes within a printing
company. With its Financial Services division Heidelberg supports
investments of its customers with financing concepts.
Sustainable environmental protection is in the focus of all
of the company's activities. Measures in development,
production and regarding the use of equipment are reducing resource
consumption and therefore the carbon footprint, other emissions and
process related waste.
Headquartered in the city of Heidelberg, Germany, with
production and development sites in seven countries and around 250
sales and service units in 170 countries, the company serves about
200,000 customers. Printing presses, prepress and postpress
equipment are mainly produced in Germany in compliance with severe
quality standards. For the Chinese market, standardized printing
machines for all common format classes as well as folding machines
are manufactured in Qingpu near Shanghai, China.
Heidelberg equipment is used around the world to produce
high-quality print products such as advertising material,
brochures, posters, folding cartons and labels.
In financial year 2010/2011, the company had a sales volume
of 2.629 billion Euros. As of March 31, 2011, the Heidelberg Group
