What is it about your job that makes you want to get up in the morning?
My customers and the excitement of never knowing what your day has in store for you. I am a thrill-seeker from way back
What was your first job?
It was working for the National Film unit in Wellington NZ putting together films for the motion picture industry. Some made it to top ratings others were not so good.
If you didn't have to work what would you be doing?
Driving trucks or flying planes.
What was your scariest experience and how did you deal with it?
Travelling across from Wellington to Christchurch on a cargo ferry during a really horrific storm with a new born baby (as if this wasn't scary enough) and then being asked by the crew to help hold up a rather spooked race horse below; now this was definitely the most scariest. There was only myself and three other passengers . How did I deal with it? Still not really sure, I guess I quickly overcame my lifelong fear of horses for a couple of hours.
If money was no object, what car would you be driving?
Simple answer I would by-pass a car as a Kenworth Truck is definitely on the top of my list
Favourite local restaurant, and why?
In Melbourne Wayne and I would go to Montania restaurant in Mountaingate Ferntree gully, the food was always great and plenty of it. On Sundays we would go there for breakfast - French toast. Now that we are living in Perth I have only been to Sizzler so we will have to find out where are the best places to go.

What do you do for a hobby?
When I do get spare time I like to do Bow hunting this is similar to Archery except you have to walk through the bush and hit targets, these are at different distances and as I don't have sights and release aid fitted to my bow I consider this more of a challenge to hit the target.

As it is the year of the Tiger, this is one of my favorites from my dear Dads shed wall:
