HAN and Toyo Join Forces in South Australia and WA
In move aimed at further expanding our consumables business,
Heidelberg has entered into an exclusive agreement with Toyo to
sell Toyo ink and coating products out of Adelaide and Perth. Toyo
have closed their Adelaide facility and long time account manager
Tony Gates has joined the Heidelberg team to ensure continuity for
both markets. Heidelberg ink and coating products are sold
throughout Australia and New Zealand under the house label -
Saphira.
"Exclusivity in SA and WA facilitates this arrangement - Toyo are assured of our full attention to their products and the deal means we can invest in a dedicated consumables account manager in WA." comments Bill Wall, General Manager - Consumables. He adds "Establishing a consumables person in WA means Heidelberg now have a dedicated specialist in seven major city locations across Australia and New Zealand, this level of coverage and expertise is terrific for customers and suppliers alike". The organisational changes took place during March in SA and planning is underway to have WA set up in the next month or so.
