Polar-Mohr Doubles Inmould Label Cutting Productivity with New SuperClamp

Polar's SuperClamp beta version, which attracted a great deal of interest when shown at drupa last year, has now been released for general sale following extensive field testing.

The first machine has already been purchased and is in operation at a company in Belgium that specialises in cutting inmould labels.

Due to its excellent performance more orders have since been placed for cutters with the SuperClamp.

The SuperClamp provides full surface clamping of the ream of material. This prevents the upper part of the ream being pulled away from the back gauge rake, and allows double the volume of material to be cut in each production cycle, yet still with perfect cutting quality.

Polar's SuperClamp is a long-awaited breakthrough for the Inmould Label industry, as it is able to improve cutting productivity by more than 100%, without compromising quality.

The SuperClamp is an exclusive Polar feature which is only available as an option for a Polar 137 XT Autotrim model.

The SuperClamp will be a highlight feature at Polar's Open House to be held in Germany in June.
