Able to process a large variety of case formats and designs, the W+D 930 compact palletiser can handle either sealed cases or cases that are open on a number of sides - all of this without the need for complex changeovers or exchange parts. A roll dispenser can be integrated into the robot cell for dispensing film onto the empty incoming pallets in order to protect against moisture and ensure hygienic conditions.
The fork gripper can pick up cases from both sides of the product feed belt and to place them individually or together on the pallet. The height from which the cases are placed on the empty pallet is "taught" to ensure optimum placement. The W+D 930 compact palletiser is very simple and fast to program. Palletizing patterns can be easily generated off-line in a few minutes on any Windows PC and the program results tested in simulation prior to production.
The single-column portal design of the W+D 930 palletiser makes it both compact and adaptable in the arrangement of the product feed systems, pallet handling and other customer-specific requirements. Its space saving design makes it quick to install, with all units equipped as standard with modem for remote service.
