Varimatrix 105CS – Time machine?

Rapid job change over = high productivity.

It's a simple concept, but you need the right tools to put it into practice.

The Heidelberg Varimatrix cutting and creasing machine in standard trim is already a highly efficient, operator friendly die cutter. With the addition of the Heidelberg-engineered time saving devices shown below, down time is even further reduced. All these additions are available for new machines and easily retrofitted to existing Varimatrix die cutters.

Improvements:

• Cutting chase - Quick clamp system
  Setup time is reduced by 4-5 minutes with the quick clamp device for cutting formes. Spring loaded clamps prevent over tightening.
• Thin cutting plates - Fine adjustment
  Thin (1mm) cutting plates enable creasing matrix of repeat jobs to be retained. The fine adjustment system allows precise realignment of creasing channels to creasing rule. Thin plates in conjunction with fine adjustment system reduces repeat job set up time by 20-30 minutes.
• Stripping tool - Quick lock up frame
  Quick lock frame with centerline for dedicated upper stripping tools.  Includes fine adjustment system to allow small positional changes to be undertaken quickly and precisely without the need to un-clamp the stripping tool. Reduces set up time by 5 minutes.
• Stripping board - Quick clamp device
  The female stripping board is fixed by clamp levers. Set up time is reduced by 5 minutes and much easier for the operator. Fine adjustment of the stripping board is possible in both x/y directions.
