Stahlfolder releases New Tri-Creaser Fast Fit
The new Tri-Creaser Fast Fit replaces the Channel score device
which has proven to be extremely successful for in-line scoring on
Stahlfolders.
The new Tri-Creaser Fast Fit continues to offer all of the advantages of eliminating fibre cracking during folding including the benefits of being able to perfectly match the scoring position with the fold and to quickly carry out adjustments during production.
The new split creasing ribs provide users with a unique way to attach a split creasing rib into the device without taking it off the shafts, and this is the major benefit.
Applying one of three colour-coded creasing ribs is now so quick that set up times are dramatically reduced. The creasing rib is designed with a special profile that fits perfectly into a locking hub of the same shape.
Once the locking system is opened up the split creasing rib can be easily inserted into the open compartment before being secured into position. The lugs on the two ends of the rib simply push into the locating recess to add strength and also reinforce the join so that a gap does not open up during production.
The three color-coded crease styles represent the full range of stocks that pass through your folding machine.
Once the correct crease setting is chosen for the stock weight it is simply matched with the corresponding dot coded female channel.
