Where did you come from originally and what do you like best about Australia?
I was born and brought up in South Africa. I love Australia because the people and way of life are very similar to those in South Africa, except Australia is a lot safer to live in. Sometimes, I don't think the people of Australia realize just how lucky they are, to be living in this wonderful, safe land.
Tell us about your hobby?
Hobbies? I play tennis, do scrapbooking and love caravanning.
What is your favorite place and why?
Anywhere that we caravan. There is no better place to be, than outdoors, taking in the fresh air and beauty of our country.
The most challenging experience you've had?
I am a pretty physically active person, but the worst was playing a game of singles competition tennis against a 19 year old, when I was about 52 - never again, she nearly killed me.
Describe a typical day at work
Can be very challenging, but most days normally start off with logging on to emails, customer visits, "putting out their fires". The visits can extend from one side of Sydney to the other in any one day.
What qualities do you have that improve customer satisfaction?
I am a good listener, compassionate, have my customers needs at heart, and will go the extra mile to make their lives easier.
What do you like best about working at Heidelberg?
There have been so many things over the past ten years, but I have to say, the people and the pride they have in the Heidelberg name/product.
The most memorable moment at Heidelberg?
There have been too many memorable moments over the last 10 years, hard to say which one is the most.
What would you be doing if you didn't work for Heidelberg?
Touring around Australia
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Hopefully, still alive on this earth!
