As of now, all new Heidelberg presses will be equipped with a new
control consol, called Prinect Press Center. The innovation
replaces the well proven CP2000 consol released in 1998. What is
different?
- New, state-of-the-art console design
- Improved operator ergonomics thanks to the height adjustment
of the entire console
- Uniform glare-free illumination with new standard daylight
lamp technology (DIN ISO 3664 compliant)
- More work surface area and more storage drawers
- Bigger 19" touch-screen display (scroll-free operating
presses with up to 12 units)
- New software Intellistart raises productivity and reliability
during job changes
- The Wallscreen option provides a comprehensive process
overview and displays the entire print sheet 1:1 size
- Improved usability thanks to touchscreen and jogwheel at the
delivery of the press
The highlights
The Intellistart is a new operating software which is based
on a process oriented operation rather than step by step
functionality based set up. It has enhanced features such as a
guided operation (wizard), which results in an average of 70% less
steps for job set-up. It generates a dynamic job change list
(process steps) for optimization, time saving and reduction of
operating errors.
The optional wallscreen is an LCD screen in original sheet
width, integrated into the back wall of the Prinect Press Center.
It displays coloured and animated processes, status graphs of the
press and the colour measuring devices, displays ink zone settings,
colour separation data and the entire print image. It is also able
to access and display management and prepress data of Prinect
products as well as data of external customer applications.
