A Super Performance from Superdot Inks

Adam Torrington, Sheetfed Manager at Webstar Print in Sydney's Silverwater has been using Heidelberg consumables for the past 12 months.  He chose to go with the Heidelberg range because of the quality and performance of its Superdot inks in particular.

"We produce a range of high quality coffee table magazines," says Adam.  "It is paramount that the images for these publications are reproduced at the highest standard.  The Superdot inks enable us to ensure the quality and the results are excellent."

Adam trialled a number of different brands on the company's Heidelberg CD102-6 colour press.  He chose to use the Superdot inks and Heidelberg's fountain solution and blanket wash because "they out performed the rest". 

Webstar Print, which employs upwards of 120 at the Silverwater plant, works on a monthly consignment basis for its consumables meeting with its Heidelberg account manager to go over the consumption of the prior month to determine quantities. 

Dependent on workload, occasionally there is the requirement to order before the month is up. Adam says the service from Heidelberg is fantastic.  "Our account manager Jenny Faddel and the team in Melbourne are always quick to respond.  We haven't had any issues whatsoever in getting the consumables we need and deliveries are usually made within 24 hours."
