We don't know any printer who relishes the task of emptying and cleaning wash-up trays. It is messy, time-consuming and requires unnecessary use of wash-up materials that in some cases are not environmentally or operator friendly.

The SAPHIRA WASHUP AND GO Kit consists of a Washup Blade, an Aluminium Support and 25 Disposable Liners.

After the initial low start-up cost, the only part that needs replacing is the Disposable Liner which are available in packs of 25:

The cost of installing WASHUP AND GO is quickly paid back with the time saved in reducing the time spent cleaning trays and hands, as well as the reduction in the cost of chemistry and rags.  In fact, it is estimated that the return on investment is around 2-4 weeks depending on the number of wash-ups performed.

The disposable liner is only discarded when the solvent/ ink level is 1 cm below the top of the liner. This means that many wash-ups can be performed before it becomes necessary to replace the liner.
