Quick lock system for Die cutters
Do you have many repeat jobs? Purchasing a set of
"dedicated" male and female stripping tools from your
local die maker can greatly reduce repeat set-up and downtime on
your automatic die cutter.
It is worth noting that when using dedicated stripping tools, it is sometimes necessary to carry out fine adjustments of the upper stripping forme so that the stripping pins align correctly with the die cut waste. This may mean unlocking and moving the stripping tool, maybe a millimetre or less in the X or Y direction. These small adjustments are difficult and result in increased downtime.
The Heidelberg Quick lock system enables upper stripping tools to be locked in place quickly and accurately. In addition, it allows fine positional adjustment of the stripping/blanking tool in both the X & Y direction without the need to unlock the tool from the frame, which dramatically reduces downtime.
