Easygluer 55 folder gluer: A small price to pay!
The Easygluer 55 is the newest addition to Heidelberg's range of
carton folder gluers. It is a compact, attractively-priced
gluer offering quick set-up times and easy operation. It is ideal
either as an introduction to gluing for a commercial printer, or to
complement existing folder gluers at an established carton
manufacturer.
The Easygluer 55 can handle a maximum blank width of up to 550mm and is equipped to run straight line, crash lock bottom and double wall cartons with options to process folders and CD/DVD sleeves.
Why is the Easygluer 55 so quick to set up?
Job changeovers from straight line to crash lock and back again are probably one of the greatest causes of lost production time. These processes are time consuming, adding and removing parts from the gluer. In addition, when parts are removed they run the risk of getting lost or damaged, resulting in more down time.
The Easygluer 55 is different in that the lock bottom device stays on the machine and when required it is simply lowered into place. When it is not needed it is simply wound up out of the way. As no extra parts need to be added or removed, makeready is quick, easy and lost or damaged crash lock parts become a thing of the past.
