Heidelberg Canada: Twelve Unit Speedmaster XL 105 installed at the PLM Group in Markham, Ontario
Heidelberg Australia and New Zealand are now seeing a trend toward
longer presses with coating and special application configurations.
In some respects our market is lagging the trend seen in Europe and
the America's although there are parallels that show the same
demand exists in our region. One such case is Canada, where in many
instances the Canadian industry mirrors our situation. As such the
experiences in Canada may spark your imagination.
Heidelberg Canada Graphic Equipment Limited recently
installed a Speedmaster XL105-8+LYYLX3 in the greater Toronto area
at the PLM Group in Markham, Ontario.
This is one of seven Speedmaster XL 105 installations in Canada
since the introduction of the XL 105 to the market in April
2005. This particular configuration consists of a
high-performance Speedmaster XL 105-UV press with eight printing
units, coating unit, two drying towers and another coating unit.
