book binding has been met with Heidelberg's new Eurobind 4000.
Companies with run lengths of 3,000 to 50,000 have gained considerable benefit from the automated features of the Eurobind 4000.
One particular operator in Europe has produced 1.35 million books after only 57 days of production. Most of the installed machines run at the maximum production speed of the Eurobind 4000.
Seven machines have been installed in Europe since the premiere of the Eurobind 4000 at Ipex 2006 with a further three lines awaiting installation.
Following successful performances at all of these installations the Eurobind has now been released for worldwide distribution.
