To run your carton folder gluer at high uninterrupted speeds
requires accurate feeding. The Diana Pre-feeder offers a
solution…supplying a continuous and controlled stream of
carton blanks which ensures stable conditions in the feeder of the
folder gluer. The end result is higher productivity with less
effort.
Previously known as the Jagfeed, the renamed Diana Pre-feeder
has a new streamlined look, with improved ergonomics and reduced
set up time.
There are many improvements to the new Diana Pre-feeder. The
new drive system allows for a totally variable feed of cartons.
Pile height in the folder gluer can be maintained and controlled
down to a height of 1.5cm, minimising the risk of double feeds and
feeder belts marking the printed surfaces.
The new Diana Pre-feeder has a self learning program which
after a few minutes running, anticipates the required shingle speed
and delivers a controlled steady flow of cartons. This prevents the
problem of many pre-feeders which 'dump' a large stack of cartons
in to the feeder causing doubles and misaligned cartons.
The low working height combined with adjustments for the
blank pile incline according to blank size and layout means
comfortable loading of blanks and less stress on the machine
operator.
Highlights:
- Maximises line speed
- Fits most folder gluers
- Prevents marking
- Fewer doubles and mis-feeds
- New "Smart" self learning system
- Greater productivity
- Easy to operate
