What do you do in your spare time?
My recreational passion is motocross. Spare time interests include fishing, snorkelling, camping, eating, more recently mountain biking and anything I can enjoy with my family.
The best place you've visited to?
It's hard to say but the lakes and southern alps in the south of New Zealand, as well as the coastline and beaches in the north of the country, are spectacular!
The most incredible experience you've had?
Supporting my son's recovery from a life threatening illness.
How would you describe yourself and your team?
Focused, experienced, reliable, flexible & fun with a dash of unpredictability every now & then.
How would you describe your career path?
I have enjoyed taking on new roles and being involved with very knowledgeable people across all aspects of the business. Heidelberg's people & products have challenged me to grow over the years.
The best thing about Heidelberg?
It's the best company in the world and demands the best from the people and everyone responds. This is really good for the team & the business.
Your most memorable experience with Heidelberg?
On a visit to Germany we flew in a small eight seater plane back from Kiel in the north to Manheim near Heidelberg in a raging wind with rain & an electrical storm. I don't scare easily but I had my doubts about this one.
Your wish for Heidelberg in its new fiscal year 2008?
For everyone to be passionate about what they do
