With all the benefits of its larger counterpart, the Varimatrix
105C is a cost-effective, small-footprint option for customers who
do not need a stripping unit on their die-cutter.
Many job types and finishing applications such as labels and
embossing do not require waste to be stripped from the sheet. In
these instances the Varimatrix 105C would be the ideal choice.
As well as being a more cost effective choice there are other
benefits. With no stripping station the machine footprint is
smaller, allowing installation in smaller areas where there is no
room for a larger die-cutter.
For delicate die-cut jobs there is less disruption to the
sheet as it now passes directly from die-cut station to the
delivery, where fewer and smaller nicks are required. In addition,
without stripping, make-ready and job changeover time is minimised.
When embossing or die-cutting a full sheet with multiple ups,
heavy pressures will be required. The Varimatrix can apply up to
300 Tonnes of pressure. Under these conditions the rigid
construction of the Varimatrix side frames and cutting area resists
distortion, keeping make-ready (patch up) to a minimum.
The Varimatrix 105C brings with it all the advantages of its
stripper-equipped stablemate. Able to handle a maximum sheet format
of 750 x 1050mm and with the small sheet option, sheets as small as
310 x 400mm can be run. A wide range of substrates can be
processed, paper, carton board and plastic sheets from 80gsm up to
1400gsm as well as B-flute corrugated.
With standard non-stop feeder and delivery, double sheet
detector, pull and push guides on both sides of the machine and
user guidance via touch screen the Varimatrix 105C is easy to
operate and offers high productivity.
