Clean, Safe and Environmentally Friendly
Do you want to cut back on cleaning downtime while also
giving your employees a safer and cleaner environment in which to
work? Why not consider changing the spray powder you use?
A common problem faced by most printers is that of spray
powder residue. Residue floats in the air breathed by factory
workers, it mixes with oils, grease and fluids to clog gripper bars
and other moving parts, and it creates unnecessary wear and tear on
machinery adding to maintenance costs.
Heidelberg cannot eliminate spray powder residue completely
but it offers a quality product that will reduce powder residue -
KSL S5/16 or 22 micron powders.
S5/16 and 22 micron powders produce less dust than
conventional powders. Almost all grain particles smaller than 10
microns have been extracted from the product. With this optimized
grain assortment the powder has excellent fluidity and gliding
characteristics, giving you more even paper stacks (especially
important when the stock has to pass a second time through the
press) without fine residue.
Heidelberg's S5/16 and 22 powders meet the German Institution
for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention standards and are
on the body's recommendation list of safe products for the Printing
and Paper Processing Industry.
S5/16 and 22 are manufactured from Natural Organic
Starches with soft grains and are insoluble in water and are
gentle to printing plates and paper matter.
S5/16 and 22 Spray Powders are suitable for all spraying
devices.
