Varimatrix 105CS Die Cutter

The original Heidelberg cylinder die cutter has been around for many years, but with increasing press speeds it may be time to consider a replacement. The Varimatrix 105CS automatic cutting and creasing machine offers a broad range of capabilities ideal for carton manufacturers, trade finishers and commercial printers alike. It has a proven track record as a packaging die cutter, suitable for carton board, plastics and the lighter grades of corrugated. In addition to these heavier substrates the Varimatrix 105CS comes equipped to handle the finer grades of paper and plastic, down to 80gsm. This makes it an ideal replacement for the original Heidelberg cylinder die cutter, even existing cutting formes for the cylinder die cutter can easily be modified to fit the new Varimatrix 105CS.

With parts for ageing cylinder die cutters becoming more difficult to find, the Varimatrix can bring any die cutting department up to date. The Varimatrix has the added benefit of a larger maximum sheet format of 750 x 1050mm, running speeds up to 7500sph, automatic stripping of the die cut waste and safety standards that meets today's most exacting requirements. Even the small sheet format has not been forgotten, with the Varimatrix 105CS able to run sheets down to a minimum size of 310 x 400mm.
