In-line Die Cutting with Stahlfolder PT 220
The new PT 220 inline die cutter perfectly fulfils demands for
value adding to the finishing process.
It combines high flexibility in producing free form profiles as well as maximum output in production.
There are almost unlimited possibilities in the design of steel rule dies which provides creative scope in design, as well as performing the applications of window punching for mailing.
The PT 220 can be operated in-line with a folding machine, mailer or saddle stitcher.
A version with its own feeder and delivery is also available for off-line operation.
The use of the PT inline die-cutter with a saddle stitcher allows for a three side trimming of small brochures and booklets. Compared to conventional trimmers, the minimum format of the PT 140-500D die-cutter is 32 x 40 mm.
Compared to the trimmer, production of more than 3 ups is possible with the die-cutter.
This applies not only for the final cut but also for special applications as hole punching, die-cutting and special punchings.
