HAN e-Newsletter Issue February 2007
Welcome to the first Heidelberg e Newsletter for 2007, we
took a break in January and used the month off to bring you an
expanded February issue packed with stories, information and tips.
At the top of the list, and the top of this page is the
Australian Women in Print initiative. Building on the success of
events staged in New Zealand for the past 10 years by Printing
Industries New Zealand, Heidelberg have brought the initiative
across the Tasman. Click on the link to read more about the
networking events planned for March, aimed at women from all walks
of life in the industry. Don't miss out on the 'Women in
Print' Inaugural Dinners - register today to participate an
evening of networking, fun and fine food and wine at a capital city
near you.
As well as local stories we have a couple from the UK. The
one about UK printers optimism being at an all time high
particularly caught our eye. On the back of Ashes induced
depression, things must be pretty good for the UK industry to be so
up beat. Seems there may be some parallels to our market
surrounding continued consolidation, so lets hope this translates
into improved margins as it has done in the UK in recent times.
Lastly, can I draw your attention to two things, Online Shop
and Printex. Heidelberg's online shop for consumables products
will be launched in early April and you can pre-register to be one
our first online shoppers by clicking the link on the below right.
Remember that the Printex Exhibition at Darling Harbour Sydney is
on at the end of May in conjunction with the National Print Awards.
Shown in this part of world for the first time Heidelberg will
feature the Speedmaster SM52 Anicolor technology (
see Anicolor - Technology Innovator) along with the new
entry level Suprasetter A52, A3 format CtP device. Mark 24th to
26th May in your diary.
