Lithopure Fount Filration System, new from Heidelberg Consumables

Quality printing is dependent on clean, consistent chemistry and currently the only time fount solution is pure is directly after a system clean. The Lithopure Fount Filtration System removes contaminants and dramatically increases the life of the fount and extends intervals between manual cleaning.

The Lithopure System runs independently of, and in addition to, any other filters in the fount circulation system, making for less press maintenance while maintaining the same level of cleanliness as fresh solution. As a result less residue is left in the trays, re-circulator sump and on the dampening rollers.

Lithopure controls conductivity and improves print quality by reduction of scumming and tinting. It also lowers production costs with less maintenance and lower fount consumption.

For printers wishing to reduce or eliminate alcohol, Lithopure is a must, as alcohol free printing is simplified with a solution free of contaminants.
