Cooking, Gardening, Horse Racing, Spending time with my
family...
The best places you've been to?
Palestine - East Texas. I toured the Southern States of
America in 1995.
How long have you been working with Heidelberg? 27.5 years
What have you been doing in the past twenty seven and
half years in Heidelberg?
Started out as an apprentice fitter and turner and Field
Service Representative. Moved into a customer service role as a
spare parts analyst then moved into service control.
What is the main reason for you to work in Heidelberg
for twenty seven and half years?
No one else will have me. Seriously, Its not such a bad place
to work for. There is a lot of trust and autonomy. While there is a
lot of stress, some would say too much, the occasional thank you
from a grateful customer makes it all worthwile.

The most incredible experience you've ever had?
Seeing each of my five children born.
How would you describle your team?
Professional, dedicated and eager to please. We are all aware
of the problems customers face in relation to tight deadlines, on
demand printing and no margin for error production schedules. Most
of the calls we get are for breakdown service. We try to get the
right person to the job in the quickest possible time to minimise
the impact of a down machine, while we do our best to keep
customers informed of delays and expected eta's.
The best thing about Heidelberg?
Every day brings a new challenge.
What do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I like it where I am, so I would like to be doing the same
thing. I enjoy the customer service aspect and the thrill of
finding solutions to problems.
