Diana Packer
With a packing rate of up to 200,000 cartons per hour, the Diana
Packer lets the full potential of high-speed folding carton gluers
be fully taken advantage of. As a result, the packing operation is
no longer a bottleneck that keeps output down. Instead, the
production speed can be increased and per-piece costs minimized
without having to assign any additional staff.
Automatic calculation of setting values and a smaller number
of components to set nearly halve the time needed for make-ready on
the Diana Packer. A touch screen makes for easy operation. Readying
the shipping cases and inserting them into the machine is simple
and straightforward.
The Diana Packer is built for flexibility: cartons can be
deposited in the shipping cases so they rest on the second or
fourth creaseline or the closure flap, depending on the
requirements of downstream filling machines. The Diana Packer
also boasts an extended application range: it now also handles
larger cartons up to 500 millimeters wide.
The semi-automatic sample carton removal can be configured
individually, to ensure that the shipping cases are 100 percent
filled with cartons. Automatic Case Control (ACC) reduces operator
work by detecting whether shipping cases are full or not and
conveying them either to the delivery or to be filled up as
appropriate.
