1. Nonstop Sheet Feeder
The Dymatrix 145 is equipped with a high-performance nonstop sheet feeder. An advanced servomotor drive smoothly feeds sheets into the cutting station. The Dymatrix 145 is highly automated for outstanding user-friendliness. Generously sized window openings facilitate operation. For job changeovers, the cutting plate and chase are automatically loaded, unloaded, and clamped. An optional hydraulically operated chase allows quick and easy changing of cutting dies by just one operator. This prevents cutting dies from warping when they are mounted, making for easier job changes and highly accurate positioning. Makeready for repeat orders is significantly facilitated.4. Ergonomics

The patented gripper bar system of the Dymatrix 145 ensures extremely accurate registration. Controlled register shafts position the gripper bars in all stations. Like all Heidelberg die cutters, the cutting station of the Dymatrix 145 uses a moving upper platen. The platen is driven by a large eccentric cam with roller bearings. Its sturdy construction guarantees top die cutting accuracy and minimal makeready times. The moving upper platen increases both quality and production speed. This approach eliminates superfluous vertical movement of each sheet as it passes through the machine. Even with a minimum of break points, production speed increases. Both quality and productivity are improved.7. Strippers
Double-cam drives for the upper and lower strippers ensure that all waste is stripped. Newly designed tool frames with quick changeover systems for the upper and lower strippers and the stripping board facilitate speedy job changeovers. Tool alignment is quick and trouble-free using a fine adjustment feature on the operator side. The register system ensures reliable stripping of even the smallest waste pieces at high speeds.8. Blank Separation
The buffer is equipped with a double-cam drive for reliable blank separation. Changeover frames for separation grids or a standard delivery make for simple job changes. Tie sheets are supplied fully automatically to the packet piling unit by a nonstop rack-of-swords system that never has to be retooled, even for the smallest blanks. The tie sheets are kept in a drawer-type hopper. Here too, the register system makes sure that sheets are exactly positioned on the separating grid and in the standard delivery. The result is perfectly aligned piles, even at high speeds and with complex sheet layouts or difficult substrates.
