DIAlog Process Control
The DIAlog process control computer serves as the interface between
the operator and the machine. Thanks to a touchscreen with a
clearly organized, intuitive graphical user interface, it's
easy to make entries and control all basic machine functions. A
radio-controlled, cordless mobile unit is also available for
remotely controlling the main functions from any position. The
bottom line is substantially reduced operator work for setup and
faster make-readies.
The process control system also integrates fault diagnostics.
Important information for repairs and servicing is collected and
evaluated, and the central Diana Pro computer automatically saves
all error messages and diagnosis data. Diana Pro machines can be
optionally equipped with a modem that lets Heidelberg's service
team perform remote troubleshooting. This slashes costs by reducing
the frequency of routine service visits. Plus, all machine and
production data can be relayed to the customer's plant data
capture system.
