The Diana Pro models are simple to operate and set up, and
makeready times are minimal. This is due to the sophisticated
concept underlying them. The capabilities of the basic machines can
be considerably extended by adding modules. The extension module,
for example, adds 1,500 millimeter to the folding path, permitting
many more longitudinal and cross folds to be made. This means that
even large blanks can be transported gently through the machine at
high production speeds, and quality and output are increased
further.
Combining a Diana Pro with the extension module Diana
Feeder and Diana Packer upgrades it to a high-output
gluer able to run at a speed of 650 meter per minute. The extension
module also enhances flexibility by permitting the use of a
collapsible box attachment featuring backfolding hooks driven by
powerful servomotors. This can boost output to as many as 50,000
collapsible boxes per hour.
The Diana Pro models lend themselves to a virtually unlimited
range of applications: straightline cartons, miniature cartons,
conical folding cartons, lockbottom cartons with and without
prefolding of creaselines 1 and 3, double-wall cartons with single
and double folding, partition cartons, record sleeves, envelopes,
CD covers, four and six-corner collapsible boxes, and many other
specialty cartons.
For optimizing product quality, three different types of
blank transport are available for the folding station: center
carrier, left-before-right folding, and right-before-left folding.
When required, the center carrier can be pivoted beneath the
carrier section in a few simple steps without having to remove
shafts or other parts.
The blank squaring module following the feeder is 1,000
millimeter long; it laterally aligns the blanks on the right and
left to ensure high-quality processing further downstream.
