Print providers in Brazil, the Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore,
Malaysia and Poland will now have access to the high performance
and outstanding image quality of the Heidelberg Digimaster 9110
Network Imaging System.
These additional markets expand the worldwide presence of the
Digimaster product family, joining an array of global market
placements, including Australia, Canada, central Europe, Iceland,
Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the U.S., and Canada.
"In expanding into these markets, we are not simply
placing Digimaster in more countries," said Wolfgang
Pfizenmaier, President of Heidelberg's Digital Solution Center.
"Heidelberg is advancing world-class technologies into markets
that are ready to harness the productivity of high-volume digital
printing, particularly the Asian market. These solutions will
enable print providers around the world to become more versatile in
serving their customers, opening up new avenues of profitability
and competitive advan- tage."
"Printing businesses all over the world are rapidly
entering the Information Age and are eager to tap into the power of
electronic content distribution," added Pfizenmaier. "The
networking capabilities of these digital printing systems provide a
whole new dimension of control over print media con- tent, as well
as lucrative on-demand and variable-data printing
capabilities." About the Digimaster 9110 system The Heidelberg
Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System employs high-definition
imaging technology to deliver documents with fine text and rich
graphics at 600 x 600 dots per inch, at a rate of 110 images per
minute.
The Digimaster 9110 is offered in four standard
configurations - as a printer, a duplicator, a duplicator/printer
and a deluxe duplicator/printer. The Digimaster system is employed
in high-volume printers sold by Canon/Ikon, Danka, Heidelberg and
IBM.
Heidelberg recently introduced new product accessories that
make the Digimaster system even more productive:
- Roll-feed integration with DocuSheeter DI to deliver
continuous-run capability and a capacity of up to 60,000
sheets.
- The Multiple Stacker 9110, which achieves greater
productivity and enables a paper-store capacity of 18,000
sheets.
- ImageSmart Document Mastering 2.0 software, a complete
workflow package giving users expanded functionality from their
high-volume print systems, including the Digimaster.
- Hole Puncher 9110, an in-line accessory that provides hole
punching with minimal operator involvement, at full production
speed.
