Your customers are increasingly asking for their products to be finished with high-gloss or specialeffect coatings. If several coating changes are required in the course of a single day flexible technology and a high level of automation are required to minimize makeready times. CoatingStar considerably speeds up and simplifies coating changes between various dispersion coatings or various UV coatings.

The CoatingStar universal coating supply unit is based on unique, low-maintenance annular-piston pump technology and can be used to process a whole range of different coatings. Thanks to the high pumping volume also high-viscosity coatings can be handled easily. The high pumping volume as well as fully automatic washup programs speed up and facilitate coating changes and the cleaning of the coating system resulting in reduced makeready times.

In addition, pumps can be run both forwards and backwards so that coating residue left in hoses and the coating unit can be pumped back into the supply container. This saves time and minimizes the amount of coating residue.

CoatingStar can also heat the coating. This improves the gloss level, in particular for UV coatings.

Thanks to the pump design, CoatingStar benefits from pulsation-free operation. This means that hardly any foam is produced, resulting in uniform distribution of the coating and an optimum coating result.

Thanks to the CAN connection, the system can be operated at the unit's convenient control panel. It is also easy to operate it centrally at the Prinect Press Center.
