Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Recognized with Top Digital Award from BERTL

The Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System has been
named the best high-volume monochrome CRD production device by a
leading independent testing laboratory.
Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratory (BERTL) recognized the Digimaster printer in its latest "Digital Office Awards 'Best of the Best' 2002." The winning products and manufacturers were chosen based on approximately 200 hands-on evaluations. Established in 1990, BERTL has gained a reputation for its expertise in providing independent, balanced analysis of performance of digital document imaging systems.
According to BERTL CEO Carmel Rowley, "The 9110 marks Heidelberg as a strong player in the fast-growing and increasingly competitive segment 6 digital duplicator/printer marketplace … the Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 is very hard to fault because it delivered one of the best quality reproduction seen on any digital imaging system."
"Under test," Rowley continued, "the Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 delivered consistent high speed throughput on all types of electronically generated print files. BERTL analysts were especially impressed with its performance on the continuous varied production work, which switched jobs frequently and interspersed A4/letter-sized paper with A3 / 11 x 17 inch paper along with stapling."
The Digimaster 9110 print system employs powerful high-definition imaging technology to deliver documents with fine text and rich graphics at 600 dots per inch, at a rate of 110 images per minute. Designed to meet the workflow needs of on-demand printing and duplicating, it employs an open architec- ture that allows it to be easily integrated into networks.
