The Original Heidelberg Zylinder 38 cm x 52 cm (14.96 x 20.47 in) cylinder press was launched onto the market by the then Schnellpressenfabrik AG Heidelberg. Heidelberg thus rounded off its product portfolio with an A3 press. This was manufactured in one of the first halls at the Wiesloch-Walldorf plant of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
