Saphira Ink Perfect Board

Distinctive quality inks. The quality of an ink can be characterized by a large number of laboratory and print parameters. These include e.g. fastness parameters such as lightfastness and chemical resistance, and physical (tack, viscosity) and colorimetric properties (Lab). Moreover, ink also has to satisfy a whole array of additional print and postpress parameters such as print quality, smoothness in solids and screens, high-gloss effects, rub resistance, etc. Heidelberg® has put together a practical portfolio of inks to
cover these special requirements.

Saphira Ink Perfect Board. Saphira® Ink Perfect Board is an intense, highly rub-resistant series of inks based on renewable raw materials that exhibits rapid oxidative drying. It is particularly suitable for perfecting printing on very fast-running multicolor presses. Thanks to the use of new binding agent components, it delivers outstanding ink-water stability along with a vastly reduced misting tendency - particularly at high print speeds. Their duct-fresh qualities ensure that Saphira Ink Perfect Board delivers the perfect compromise between duct-fresh and oxidative drying characteristics. Moreover, the inks are also suitable for print work in line with ISO 12647-2.
