Saphira Stitching Wires

Developed with the same precision and know-how as our stitching heads, Saphira stitching wires have been optimized for use on your Heidelberg equipment and will offer you the best possible stitching results. We offer two types of stitching wires:

Saphira Stitching Wire Allround. These traditional, German-produced stitching wires cover a wide range of applications and are by far the most precise of their kind worldwide. They can be used on most of our saddlestitching machines. The "Allround" wires demonstrate excellent glide performance, low abrasion and give the stitches a perfect, "clean" look.

Saphira Stitching Wire Extreme. Completing our offering, the "Extreme" stitching wires (also "Made in Germany") are tougher, more resistant and enable other types of applications such as:

• Processing of thicker products thanks to a higher density and overall resistance (reducing wire breaks)
• Replacing thicker "Allround" wire with thinner "Extreme" wire

Choosing the right wire. You cannot go wrong with Original Heidelberg stitching wires. You will, however, have to choose among our different types of wires depending on:

• The thickness of the processed product
• The thickness of the wire (depending on the stitching head)
• The desired type of stitches
• The mechanical wear of your stitching heads
