The Stitchmaster ST 500 saddlestitcher covers a wide range of jobs,
from simple saddlestitching in long runs to high-end brochures and
special requirements. This new, highly versatile machine is
designed to deliver reliability, productivity, and high quality and
has a mechanical capacity of up to 13,000 cycles an hour. It
ensures sustained reductions in makeready times, thanks to its
centralized control system, flexible feeders, innovative
technology, and wide range of automation options for the feeder,
trimmer, stitcher, and compensating stacker. The Stitchmaster ST
500 thus delivers extremely efficient production and high
performance even for short runs and frequent job changes.
The Stitchmaster ST 500 opens up new applications for
commercial print shops and bookbinders, enabling them to take a
flexible, needs-based approach to the end customer's
requirements and ultimately stand out from the competition. It
processes untrimmed formats with spine lengths of up to 500 mm
(19.69 in) and widths of up to 330 mm (12.99 in) and trimmed
formats with spine lengths of up to 475 mm (18.70 in) and widths of
up to 315 mm (12.40 in). The maximum product thickness is 12 mm
(0.472 in). This makes it easy to produce highly standardized
products and customer-specific special applications
