Combination buckle plates make it much easier to operate folders. It takes only a few seconds to turn the paper stop into the sheet deflector or vice versa, simply by turning the setting knob on top of the buckle plate. This not only significantly reduces makeready times during frequent format changes but also eliminates the need for manual labor. Combination buckle plates remain in the folder at all times, thereby minimizing the risk of damage.

Motorized Combination Buckle Plates
A motor-driven combination buckle plate, also used with the TH/KH generation of machines, improves things even further. In this version, two servo motors and spindles change the position and angle of the sheet stop. It also features automatic length compensation. The sheet stops are absolutely parallel, both when acting as deflectors and for starting a new job. There is a global adjustment feature for all buckle plates at once, and each plate can also be individually corrected. The motorized combination buckle plate permits extremely fast make-ready with very easy, convenient handling. The sheet-stop angle is automatically set in parallel position, which takes work off the operator's hands and reduces the risk of mistakes.
